Are you looking for therapy to discuss what happened behind closed doors and how that impacted you?
Kit Morgan, LCSW offers therapy to individuals who struggle to feel at home, whether that be in their family, relationship, friendships, or body. It can be a lonely experience to feel disconnected from your sense of home. Kit explores the nuances of coming home to yourself and the questions of how to find belonging, authentic identity, and personal growth. Kit is a direct but gentle communicator, who incorporates thoughtful humor to lighten heavy work in the therapy space.
As a transgender and queer person who was raised in Christian fundamentalism, Kit knows what it is like to not feel seen and go through life, not fully connected to yourself. At The Liberated Porch, your upbringing and identities are not an after-thought. Kit doesn’t offer the fast-fashion equivalent of therapy, but rather a mindfully, tailored bespoke-type of therapy for meeting your unique, individual needs.

Next Steps to Investing in Your Mental Health
Individual therapy at The Liberated Porch is offered to adults living in the states of New York, Virginia, and Indiana. To increase affordability of therapy services, clients can use their HSA or FSA to pay for therapy. When clients have out-of-network benefits with their health insurance, Kit offers to provide superbills (receipts of services for insurance companies) that clients can mail to their insurance companies for potential reimbursement that may cover between 10 - 70% of the cost for therapy. Kit is not in-network with any health insurance companies to protect the privacy of their clients as health insurance companies have access to therapy notes when a therapist is in-network.
